Octopus Vinaigrette salad

Octopus salad is easy to make, even for children. But, if you're too young, be careful with the knife when you're cutting vegetables.


You'll need:
  • cooked octopus tentacles (200 g)
  • 1 lemon
  • vinegar (we like red wine vinegar)
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 paprika pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 1 cucumber
  • olives
  • olive oil
  • parsley
  • black pepper
  • salt
How we make it? This is our method:




  • We usually buy cooked octopus tentacles so we have the just quantity and it is easier to prepare becuse it is cooked at the right point. If we buy freezed octopus we cook it (withouth defrosting before) a couple of minutes in the microwave with some water.
  • Dice the octopus and all the vegetables.
  • Mix them alltogether.
  • Add lemon, parsley, salt, black pepper, olive oil and vinegar as you like.
  • Store in the fridge until you have to serve it.
